What is it with this organisation? Have a read of this BBC Article. I find it astonishing that they have used their “powers” to force a charity from receiving a £3,000 donation that could of been used to help someone stay alive. Pathetic.

Some may find it a pain in the rear, but some may find it a usefull addition.

Anyhow, Yahoo! have released a toolbar for firefox. It allows you to translate pages on the fly, which could come in handy.

I’ve got that February feeling

Is it really almost mid February already? Where has all the time gone?

Ive had quite a busy month. First of all, I moved back to London. Living back in Bexleyheath (SE London/Kent) we are renting a 3-bedroom Semi Detached house. Its got off street parking, a 90 ft garden, and two reception rooms (which is nice), being nowhere near the underground also means the price is a bit cheaper than anything more central, which is nice. Everything is starting to come along we finally got some wardrobes last weekend and with the help of lots of friends and family everything is unpacked and its looking more like a home than it did when we moved in a few weeks ago.

Back in London means being back in the Chiswick office this has its ups and downs its a good thing Im nearer the action, and Im not sure how long I would have been able to keep up with the role in Manchester without them either forcing me to move down south or leave the company. Bad points? Not many, although the main one is that I made some very good friends in the Manchester office I hope that I can keep in contact with them as its not been the same without someone to share my jokes, news and embarrassments with the lads down here are nice enough, but I think I bond better with women; Ive always been like that.

Kieran has had a bit of a rough ride since moving back down south however. Firstly, about 2 weeks ago he decided in the middle of the night to fall out of his bed, woken by his crying we took him into our room and after him calming down a bit we all went to sleep. This was about 1pm. Next thing I know, its 5am, Lindsey is screaming as Kieran has decided to wake up and be sick everywhere. The sickness didnt stop, by 10am he had vomited around 9 times and we managed to get an appointment with the doctor who sent us to the hospital after getting to the hospital and Kieran being checked over, he has now been sick 11 times by 1pm. The hospital decides to admit him for a few hours, although he is not ill again later in the day, and manages to keep down some food, they decide to keep him in overnight, fearing that when he fell out of bed he could of knocked his head, which could cause a lot of harm. The next day arrives and they decide he is OK to go home, after taking him home, 2 days later, Lindsey comes down with the same illness, then her mum (who came down to visit) and my mum all get the same thing. Luckily I managed to pretty much avoid it, and it seems it was a viral infection like we first thought, ratherthan any form of brain damage! Since then, Kierans had a cold, and the other night had his first bout of the croup, which I got a lot when I was younger, it doesnt rain, it pours.

The other baby however is seemingly going well. Lindsey had her 3rd routine scan at the beginning of the week and it showed that so far, everything is going as it should; the midwife down here is also really nice, unlike the ones up North!

Thats about it so far for my life update, I could go into a rant on the tactics of the England manager in last nights friendly match against the Dutch, but I have a feeling that the people that read this blog are not too interested in this aspect of my life.

One last thing, I found a very good website that makes great use of web animation - might be worth having a look.
