It’s been a busy few weeks since I last posted; I’ll try and go though a few of the things that have happened.

April 13th: It was my last day at One.Tel, the company that I joined shortly after leaving college and worked at for over 5 years. It was a weird day – I was saying goodbye to Job Security and hello to a new world full of fresh opportunities. I was overall glad to leave – job security is all well and good, however if you are in a job that you don’t enjoy and at a company that you no longer believe in, something is wrong.

April 18th: I joined my new company; a good sized retail outlet with a large mail order business, as Online Marketing Manager. The title makes it sound more important than it is, but my role is quite free – the objective is to increase sales by 40% this year – not an easy task! Since joining I’ve got on pretty well with all the staff in the marketing department; there are some great people here.

April 20th: I turned the ripe age of 23. Paul and Lorraine came round and we had a beer, takeaway and cake before I switched on the xbox and lost at football yet again to Paul.

May 1st: It was my sisters wedding. The weather was perfect and the day beautiful. It was nice to welcome Scott to the family and have a bit of a party; it’s a shame that I was driving as I would of liked to of had a few drinks myself!

As for baby news, it’s still cooking. We’ve had a few scares & hospital visits over the past few weeks, however it’s still not out. My dad goes away to American on a business trip next week, so it’ll probably wait till the day after he leaves (as something always seems to happen when he’s away!).

Apologies if you’ve tried to access this web server last week also – it’s went offline and needed a restart & I couldn’t get down there to do it, but it’s back up and running now and hopefully it won’t have any more problems.
