XBox Hacker nicked
A 22-year-old man has become the first person in the UK to be convicted for modifying a video games console.
Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t see an issue with “chipping” an xbox. For the record I have done the same & installed a 200GB Hard Disk. It’s not for hacking into games, it’s to turn the xbox into a full multimedia centre, allowing me to play MP3’s, Divx and other files & link it up with the network. Very short sighted to make it against the law - MS should of offered upgrades to provide this kind of service really.
The bloke that was charged for this is very silly; I wonder if he would of still been charged if he wasn’t pre-installing games.
