My past few days

It’s been a weird few days. I last posted on Wednesday 6th, the day that London won the bid for the 2012 Olympic games; being in London that is great news for the family and I.

Then Thursday came about – browsing though the BBS as I often do, I saw a message about an explosion in London at Liverpool Street station – within hours there had been multiple explosions on both the underground and a London bus. Terrorists had attacked the UK like so many people feared they would. I won’t go into too many details as it’s all over the news, thankfully all my family & friends seem to be safe and London will pull though and hopefully catch the evil scum that did this.

Friday was a bit of a nothing day – had to take Lindsey to the doctors so got into work around 12.45. Paul & Lorraine came round in the evening and we got a Pizza from Asda and played a bit of football on the xbox.

On Saturday evening we went out to a BBQ at a friend from works house; it just goes to show what a close knit team we are when everyone was invited along to celebrate her engagement – it’s nothing like at Onetel which is definitely a good thing! Kieran took over everyones attention again – his latest exploit was playing on Sally’s Didgeridoo!

On Sunday we went to pick up a new double pram from Whistable and then went on to Ramsgate. The weather was about 32 degrees (hot for England!) so we played with the sand on the beach and then went and strolled round the harbour.
