I do use openoffice - though I do sometimes long for Microsoft Office - but it is just a case of getting used to it. I know openoffice has good (but far from perfect) compatabillity to Word. And does everyhthing that word does - just the menus and buttons are in the wrong / different places. Open source software is great.
