Affilistore Site - First Sale
If you are a regular reader than you may remember my review of AffiliStore 1.0 on the 12th February. I’ve not touched that site since (despite promosing I’d do more with it) but yesterday I received my first commission of £1.30.
So exactly one week after the site was created it was indexed on google and made a sale; not bad going, especially when this is the only site that has linked to it.
I’m going to attempt to create a custom theme for it over the next few days and look at the content units. Will be interesting to see if the sale was a fluke and when/if the next one comes.

Congratulations on your sale.
I think it would look and feel much better with a custom skin.
Incidentally, I like your new website design for this site.

Done a few more amendments to the skin today - random header generator for example. Still a little bit to do but starting to get to the point where I am happy with it I think! I think the site has come a long way since it was started again in November and long may it continue!

Hi Mate
Has the site made any more sales, how is it perfroming now. I have just started using AffiliStore and just wonder how you have got on with it since feb how does it fare in google

Just come across your blog and posts on affilistore. Sadly I see that you have taken your experimental site down.
How did you get on with it? Did you get any more sales? Why did you take it down (rather than just leave it there to possibly generate a bit of income)?

Hi Jill,
Didn’t do much with it to be honest - although as the AffiliateFuture feeds are going to be ready soon I will be giving it another go. Need to get some theme customisation going to give it another whirl.
Should put it back up - was only because I re-installed the server and havn’t setup all the sites yet!
