Google News Inclusion
I’ve tried (and failed) to get some sites into google news in the past but finally seem to have cracked it with the eyfall blog that I setup.

They turned my down the first time so I added a contact and profile pages for the authors and it seems to have done the trick.

Like the Eyefall blog, very good example of a corporate blog, a nice mix of the personal and professional.
I’m settting one up for Shine Marketing at the moment, how did you set up the Authors section?
It’s a nice template too, is that based on anything publicly available?

Authors section is a mixture of a plugin (for the photo) and a authors.php page.
It did take me a while to work out how to do it so i’ll pop it all in a blog post over the weekend.

Hi James, is it just me? I get an error when clicking though to the eyefall blog, i think there is a problem with your link.
Well done with inclusion in google news, I have tried to get a few of my sites included the latest reply said
We currently only include articles from sources that could be considered organizations, generally characterized by multiple writers and editors, availability of organizational information, and accessible contact information. When we reviewed your site we weren’t able to find this evidence of an organization.
Do you reckon if I add this organisation information and contact information they will include it?
forgot to ask also what kind of traffic does google news drive?
