I’ve been having a play with the AF framework too, you can see my now non-updated install at http://www.currentvouchercodes.co.uk - I must dust the cobwebs off and give it an overhaul. The framework offers a great base to work with though….

I love the apprentice and I am really excited about the return of the show, I hope they have altered the tasks a little - as they were getting a little similar each show. I wish they did a show where they went back to the apprentice and followed him/her in their working day, and also I would be interested to know if after the year they get their contract re issued.

You can actually get around this with abit of manipulation of the functions.php file in the theme. In short you can get it to display cats and page by name rather than ID. I’ll be writing a post on this soon.

Sorry to hijack your post James, very helpful it is indeed and something I’ve not tried but get a feeling I may need in the Future.

Good tip about viper plugin.

One thing to note with the export/import …if you have categories they don’t seem to keep the same number when you import them into new setup. So if you’ve tweaked your theme to explicitly reference category numbers you’ll either need to rename your categories or tweak your theme again - whichever is the easiest. I’ve fell foul of this a couple of times now!
